What Should We Do When Customer's Detailed Requirements Can't Be Met

For some of the customer's detailed requirements and concerns, if we can not do it, we must give the customer solution.....

Recently, a customer who had previously purchased our end caps came to inquire about other sizes of end caps. he said our end caps works very well, easy installation，High quality 304# stainless steel material, beautiful design and good seal performance~ then they deside to order some other size recently~

but they submit  a special request, they want to add a bigger ring at the lower part of cap(like following photo) to protect the floor of their laboratory，because floor is rubber material.....

But because our end caps (under 400mm) are cast unibody with support feet,there's only a way, to Sawing off  the  feet and then weld the bigger ring to meet customer request

 If so, the body of the caps may cause some damage, which may affect the strength of the end caps and the appearance is not good.

In response to these situations and customer concerns, we propose the following solutions to our customers：

1. For size above 400mm, we will do as customer request

2. for smaller size, we keep our normal design, but we will offer customer High-strength silicone pads with thickness not less than 10mm, they customer can install end caps on the pads to pretect lab floor.

Then I send all the info and solution to customer, I get Positive response from customer, he agree it and And thanked me for the solution I provided
