About the configuration of the hydrostatic pressure testing machine for large-size sample

Recently, a customer in Israel asked us about the Hydrostatic pressure testing machine. After communicating with the customer, he learned about their samples and test requirements.

sample: 1200mm PE fittings

Sample condition for test: need to attach pipes to both sides of the 1200 fittings

test requirments: customer needs a system capable of generating about 11 bar pressure on a volume of 2000 liters

customer requirments for the hydrostatice preesure test: they need this pressure testing machines with 4 stations and only for 1200mm fittings, they have other machine for small fitings


According to customers requirements, our technicians carefully calculated the relevant data again and came to the following conclusions.

1. For 1200mm size sample, if you use our standard model, there may be a situation which the pressure is not replenished in time. Because big size sample , deformation may occur under continuous pressure. If the deformation is relatively large, the time required for supplementary pressure will be longer. We call this situation that the supplementary pressure is not timely.

2.another reason for the untimely replenishment of pressure, that is, the spool of our solenoid valve can only reach 8mm at most.

※In response to the above situation, our engineers have given a new solution: a more stable and advanced approach is to directly use a centrifugal pump and a frequency converter to provide the pressure source. A centrifugal pump plus frequency converter for each channel can realize frequency conversion speed regulation and pressurization. Under this, no need solenoid valves and accumulators

1. Using a pump with a flow rate of 3m3/h, the user needs to add water to the sample first, the pressure machine only pressurize it. It takes 3 to 4 minutes for the pressure to reach 11bar

2. The other is to use a large flow pump (the flow rate is 8m3/h), which can automatically inject water and pressurize the pipe. It takes about 15 min to 11bar
